Nicholas Malorgio had two goals and one assist to lead Sun Valley to a 5-2 victory over Kennett.

Malorgio found the back of the net 12:09 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Sun Valley and again while 11:15 into the third to make the score 4-2 Sun Valley.

Sun Valley put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Kennett to score on any of its three power plays. Sun Valley kept Kennett's goalie busy throughout the game, and Sean Edmonds made 28 saves on 33 shots.

Eric DeLellis also scored for Sun Valley. In addition, Sun Valley received assists from Dante Fantini, who had one and Nicholas Daluisio, who had two.

Kennett's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Sun Valley power plays.

Kennett was helped by Jack Dreisbach, who had one goal. Dreisbach scored 5:09 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Sun Valley. Kennett also got a goal from Ryan Johnson as well. More assists for Kennett came via Patrick ODowd, who had one.

Nicholas Tkacz recorded 24 saves for Sun Valley. Sun Valley incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Kennett incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
