Kennett survives St Marks comeback, wins 4-2

St Marks tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Kennett held on for a 4-2 victory.

A goal by Ryan Ganly put Kennett up 4-1 in the third period, but St Marks pulled to within two on Default Skater's tally 14:10 into the third period.

Kennett was sparked by Taylor Cullen, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Cullen scored 13:40 into the first period to make the score 3-0 Kennett. Ryan Johnson provided the assist.

Kennett stifled St Marks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Kennett kept St Marks' goalie busy throughout the game, and Default Goaltender made 33 saves on 37 shots.

Others who scored for Kennett included Luke Borman and Forest Gheen-Regouski, who each put in one. In addition, Kennett received assists from Pearce Rush and Jack Dreisbach, who each chipped in one.

St Marks' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as St Marks finished with 14 penalty minutes.

Kennett's Sean Edmonds stopped 23 shots out of the 25 that he faced. Kennett incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. St Marks registered zero goals on three power play opportunities.
