Interboro and Kennett skate to 4-4 tie

Kennett trailed Interboro by two in the second period, but Kennett did not give up and the game ended in a 4-4 tie.

Interboro was led by Stephen Schwartz, who had three goals and one assist. Interboro also got a goal from Kenny Keene as well. More assists for Interboro came via Mike Chamberlin and Jake Reifer, who each chipped in one.

Kennett could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game.

Kennett was helped by Drew Moskey, who racked up one goal. Moskey scored on the power play 46 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-3. A tripping penalty on Chamberlin had put Kennett on the power play. Luke Borman picked up the assist. Kennett also had goals scored by Pearce Rush, Ryan Johnson, and Taylor Cullen, who each put in one. In addition, Kennett received assists from Jonathan Burns, Mike Zirolli, and Jack Dreisbach, who contributed one each.

Matt Whitham rejected 21 shots on goal for Interboro. Interboro incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Sean Edmonds recorded 26 saves for Kennett. Kennett registered one goal on four power play opportunities.
