Interboro completes comeback, beats Sun Valley, 7-6Aston Ice Works Thu, Dec 03, 2015 Interboro climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat Sun Valley, 7-6. Interboro let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Interboro took a 2-1 advantage on a goal by Jake Reifer at 14:32 in the first period. Interboro went down 6-4 after Sun Valley's Eric DeLellis put the puck home at 10:51 in the third period. After knotting things up at 6-6 on a goal by Kenny Keene at 14:58 in the third, Interboro got the game-winner from Keene at 15:34 in the third period. Interboro kept Sun Valley's goalie busy throughout the game, and Matthew DiIorio made 25 saves on 32 shots. Interboro bested its season scoring average. This season, Interboro averages 4.0 goals per contest. Interboro additionally got points from Kyle Oreskovich, who also had one goal and one assist. More assists for Interboro came via Joe Bucci, who had two and Nicholas Daniels and Mason Orner, who contributed one each. Sun Valley could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 34 minutes in penalties during the game. Sun Valley also got points from Dante Fantini, who also registered one goal and one assist. Lucas Summers also scored for Sun Valley. Other players who recorded assists for Sun Valley were Nicholas Malorgio, who had two and Zachary Costa and Garrett Johnson, who each chipped in one. Matt Whitham made 24 saves for Interboro on 30 shots. Interboro incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Sun Valley registered two goals on four power play opportunities. For Sun Valley, Malorgio was ejected from the game.
