Thomas' hat trick boosts Harriton over Interboro, 13-6

Interboro could not stop Harriton's Skyler Thomas, who tallied a hat trick in a 13-6 win.

Thomas' first goal came 2:16 into the first period. He then added goals at 10:36 into the second and at 10 seconds into the third.

Harriton forced Interboro goalie Matt Whitham to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. Harriton outdid its season average for goals scored. Harriton averages 6.0 goals per game. Harriton got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed eight goals during the game.

Harriton also got points from Sam Kirby, who also grabbed six goals and five assists, Nick Wert, who also had two goals and four assists, and Patric Foulk, who also registered one goal and two assists. Harriton also got a goal from Albert Bleznak as well. In addition, Harriton received assists from Will DeVerter, Joonas Knuutinen, and Jake Gross, who contributed one each.

Interboro managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for 12 minutes in penalty time. Interboro ended up below its season average of 20.0 penalty minutes per game.

Interboro was led by Jake Reifer, who tallied one goal and three assists. Reifer scored 15:46 into the second period to make the score 8-4 Harriton. Stephen Schwartz picked up the assist. Interboro additionally got points from Mason Orner, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Schwartz, who also grabbed two goals and one assist. Others who scored for Interboro included Shawn Flynn and Kenny Keene, who each put in one. More assists for Interboro came via Joe Bucci, Andrew Bucher, and Mike Chamberlin, who each chipped in one.

Alex Krauss recorded 17 saves for Harriton. Harriton incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities. Matt Whitham made 23 saves for Interboro on 36 shots. Interboro registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
