Garnet Valley pulls away in second, rolls over Lower Merion, 10-0

Garnet Valley scored three goals in the second period to pull away from Lower Merion and clinch a 10-0 win.

Gannon Stuart was all over the ice for Garnet Valley, as he tallied one goal and three assists in the win. Stuart scored 9:12 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Garnet Valley. Matthew Wood provided the assist.

Garnet Valley forced Lower Merion's netminders to work between the pipes, ripping 41 shots and forcing 31 saves. Luca Saleh made 31 stops and Curtis Williams made zero. Garnet Valley managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Garnet Valley wound up below its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game. Garnet Valley bested its season scoring average. Garnet Valley averages 6.6 goals per game.

Garnet Valley additionally got points from Wood, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Kevin Hennessey, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Benjamin Murphy, who also had one goal and two assists, Thomas Schenk, who also registered two goals and two assists, and Samuel Tourlitis, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Garnet Valley also got a goal from Joseph Shull as well. In addition, Garnet Valley received assists from James Neugebauer and Simon Abukasis, who contributed one each.
