Garnet Valley takes care of Harriton early, wins 12-2

Garnet Valley opened up a five-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to a 12-2 win over Harriton.

Anthony Starzi was all over the ice for Garnet Valley, as he tallied four goals and three assists in the win. Starzi got on the scoresheet 3:06 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:51 into the first, at 14:44 into the first, and at 4:19 into the third.

Garnet Valley managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Garnet Valley ended up below its season average of 12.0 penalty minutes per game. Garnet Valley's offense rang up 32 shots on Harriton's net. Garnet Valley found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Garnet Valley averages 6.0 goals per game.

Garnet Valley also got points from Matthew Wood, who also finished with two goals and two assists and Gannon Stuart, who also grabbed three goals and four assists to lead the team in points. Garnet Valley also got a goal from Michael Caratello as well. More assists for Garnet Valley came via Thomas Schenk, who had two and Dominic Starzi and Gregory Schenk, who each chipped in one.
