Archbishop Carroll completes comeback, beats Father Judge, 4-3

Archbishop Carroll climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat Father Judge, 4-3.

Archbishop Carroll never led in the game until netting the game winner. Archbishop Carroll was down 3-1 after a goal by Father Judge's Christopher Benedict at 12:26 in the second period. Archbishop Carroll knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Matthew Strofe at 35 seconds in the third period. Archbishop Carroll scored the game winner at 7:22 in the third period on a goal by Strofe.

Brendan George was all over the ice for Archbishop Carroll, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. George scored the first of his two goals at 14:01 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Father Judge. Nick Zambella picked up the assist. George's next tally made the score 4-3 Archbishop Carroll with 12:38 left in the third period. Patrick Parker provided the assist.

Archbishop Carroll put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Father Judge to score on any of its six power plays. Archbishop Carroll could not produce up to its normal offensive output. Archbishop Carroll puts an average of 7.0 pucks into the net per game.

Archbishop Carroll also got a goal from Zambella as well. Other players who recorded assists for Archbishop Carroll were Mark Bianci, who had one.

Father Judge's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Archbishop Carroll power plays. Father Judge's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals.

William Vishio also scored for Father Judge. More assists for Father Judge came via Zachary Vendetti and Mark Marron, who contributed one each.

Archbishop Carroll incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. For Archbishop Carroll, Colby Yaller was ejected from the game. Father Judge incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
