Justin Cohn netted a hat trick to lead Downingtown East over WC Henderson, 6-1.

Cohn notched his first tally 5:17 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:10 into the second and at 12:37 into the second.

Downingtown East's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four WC Henderson power plays. WC Henderson was unable to stop Downingtown East from sending pucks towards the net, and Downingtown East eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

Downingtown East also got points from Luca Pisani, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Jonathan Carreiro, who also registered one goal and one assist. Downingtown East also got a goal from Jack MaGee as well. In addition, Downingtown East received assists from Thomas Rocco, Patrick Bobko, and Collin Harple, who each chipped in one and Harrison Layne and Stephan Sizov, who contributed two each.

WC Henderson could not produce up to its normal offensive output. WC Henderson puts an average of 4.5 pucks into the net per game. Downingtown East's defense shut down WC Henderson's forwards for much of the game, and WC Henderson got off only 11 shots during the contest.

WC Henderson was led by Jarrett Slear, who scored the team's only goal. Slear scored 8:26 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Pat Muth picked up the assist.

Matt Shandler rejected 10 shots on goal for Downingtown East. Downingtown East totaled 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. For Downingtown East, Layne was ejected from the game. Kieran Green made 25 saves for WC Henderson on 31 shots. WC Henderson incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
