Kennett erases deficit to stun DMA, 5-3Patriot Ice NHL Fri, Feb 05, 2016 Kennett climbed out of a three-goal hole to beat DMA, 5-3. Kennett never led in the game until netting the game winner. Kennett trailed 3-0 after a goal by DMA's Jake Mulligan at 15:16 in the first period. Kennett knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Luke Borman at 4:40 in the third period. Kennett netted the game winner at 5:05 in the third period on a goal by Borman. Kennett did not waste many scoring chances, needing only 12 shots to achieve its goal tally. Kennett excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Kennett was helped by Drew Moskey, who finished with one goal. Kennett also got points from Borman, who also registered one goal and one assist, Pearce Rush, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Forest Gheen-Regouski, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Jack Dreisbach, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, Kennett received assists from Mike Zirolli and Taylor Cullen, who contributed one each. DMA's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Kennett power plays. DMA did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. DMA puts an average of 5.8 pucks into the net per game. Kennett's defense shut down DMA's forwards for much of the game, and DMA got off only 12 shots during the contest. DMA additionally got points from Markus Cook, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for DMA came via Alex Maglio, who had one. Kennett's Sean Edmonds stopped nine shots out of the 12 that he faced. Kennett incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Julia Emerich made seven saves for DMA on 12 shots. DMA incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
