In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Avon Grove escaped with a 4-3 victory over St Marks.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Matt Miller at 8:41 of the third period.

Miller was all over the ice for Avon Grove, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Miller scored the first of his two goals at 5:28 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Avon Grove. Brady Anderson picked up the assist. Miller's next tally made the score 4-3 Avon Grove with 11:19 left in the third period. Alex Faller assisted on the tally.

Avon Grove stifled St Marks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Avon Grove forced St Marks goalie Default Goaltender to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots.
