Conestoga and Garnet Valley skate to 8-8 tie

Behind four goals and one assist from Gannon Stuart and two goals and one assist from Anthony Starzi, Garnet Valley drew with Conestoga 8-8.

Conestoga's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Garnet Valley power plays. Conestoga outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, Conestoga averages 5.4 goals per contest.

Conestoga was helped by Tate Kienzle, who had two goals and one assist. Kienzle scored the first of his two goals at 7:51 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Garnet Valley. Graham Carpenter provided the assist. Kienzle's next tally made the score 3-2 Conestoga with 6:16 left in the first period. Mac Hamblett assisted on the tally. Conestoga also got points from Hamblett, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Turner Kaufmann, who also registered one goal and two assists, and Carpenter, who also finished with two goals and two assists to lead the team in points. Conestoga also had goals scored by Tommy Sopko and Scott Macmillan, who scored one goal each. More assists for Conestoga came via Charlie Orr, who had one.

Conestoga was unable to stop Garnet Valley from sending pucks towards the net, and Garnet Valley eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Garnet Valley additionally got points from Thomas Schenk, who also grabbed one goal and two assists and Starzi, who also had two goals and one assist. Garnet Valley also got a goal from Joseph Shull as well. In addition, Garnet Valley received assists from Ethan Liu, Samuel Tourlitis, and Gregory Schenk, who each chipped in one and Matthew Wood and Michael Caratello, who contributed two each.

Malcolm Roeder rejected 28 shots on goal for Conestoga. Conestoga incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Lee Wheeler took the tie and made 12 saves before being replaced by Stephen Paulus who made eight saves. Garnet Valley incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
