Haverford High beats Conestoga 3-2 after comeback scare

Conestoga tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but Haverford High would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2.

A goal by Shane Moran put Haverford High up 3-0 in the second period, but Conestoga pulled to within one on Graham Carpenter's tally 2:20 into the third period.

Haverford High stifled Conestoga's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Haverford High could not produce up to its normal offensive output. Haverford High puts an average of 6.8 pucks into the net per game.
