McCanney nets hat trick, leads Cardinal OHara to 10-0 win over Lower Merion

Liam McCanney netted a hat trick to lead Cardinal OHara over Lower Merion, 10-0.

McCanney's first goal came 2:31 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:33 into the first and at 3:25 into the second.

Cardinal OHara put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Lower Merion to score on any of its five power plays. Cardinal OHara bested its season scoring average. This season, Cardinal OHara averages 5.7 goals per contest.

Cardinal OHara additionally got points from Justin Boornazian, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Nick Paquin, who also had one goal and one assist, Nick Donato, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Corey Boornazian, who also registered three goals and four assists to lead the team in points, and John Ahearn, who also finished with one goal and one assist. More assists for Cardinal OHara came via Cody Sharpe and Mike Matteo, who contributed one each.
