Bransen Mackey was all over the ice for Boyertown, as he tallied four goals and one assist in Boyertown's 8-4 win over Avon Grove.

Mackey notched his first tally 7:03 into the second period. He then added goals at 8:35 into the second, at 5:35 into the third, and at 9:50 into the third.

Boyertown's penalty kill excelled, as Boyertown gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Boyertown stifled Avon Grove's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Boyertown's offense rang up 35 shots on Avon Grove's net. Boyertown was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 26 penalty minutes.

Boyertown also got points from Casey Sottenella, who also tallied two goals and four assists to lead the team in points, Daniel Moyer, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, and Jake Harmon, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, Boyertown received assists from Dominic DiCesare, who had one.

Avon Grove was led by Brendan Harman, who registered three goals. George DiFrancesco also scored for Avon Grove. Other players who recorded assists for Avon Grove were Brady Anderson and Blane Vetland, who each chipped in one and Ryan Hassiepen and Jake Beck, who contributed two each.

Troy Viola rejected 23 shots on goal for Boyertown. Boyertown registered one goal on five power play opportunities. Cameron Faller recorded 27 saves for Avon Grove. Avon Grove incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Avon Grove ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and DiFrancesco was ejected from the game.
