Brendan Harman netted a hat trick to lead Avon Grove over Sun Valley, 9-2.

Harman notched his first tally 6:19 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:22 into the second and at 3:31 into the third.

Sun Valley was unable to stop Avon Grove from sending pucks towards the net, and Avon Grove eventually piled up 51 shots on goal. Avon Grove outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, Avon Grove averages 5.3 goals per contest.

Avon Grove also got points from Kelvin DeFeo, who also had two goals and four assists to lead the team in points, Ryan Hassiepen, who also registered one goal and two assists, Ryan Nichol, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Matt Miller, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Blane Vetland also scored for Avon Grove. In addition, Avon Grove received assists from Jake Beck, who had one and Brady Anderson and Alex Faller, who contributed two each.

Avon Grove's defense shut down Sun Valley's forwards for much of the game, and Sun Valley got off only 13 shots during the contest. Sun Valley got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Sun Valley was led by Lucas Summers, who finished with one goal. Summers scored 7:18 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Nicholas Malorgio assisted on the tally. Sun Valley also got a goal from Nicholas Daluisio as well.
