Behind a great game by Shawn Connolly, who had two goals and one assist, Archbishop Ryan defeated Penncrest, 6-3.

Connolly scored at 3:28 into the second period to make the score 4-1 Archbishop Ryan and again while short handed 7:49 into the second to make the score 5-1 Archbishop Ryan.

Archbishop Ryan's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Penncrest power plays. Archbishop Ryan kept Penncrest's goalie busy throughout the game, and Mark Dumont made 34 saves on 40 shots.

Archbishop Ryan additionally got points from Blaze Ferris, who also registered one goal and one assist, Tyler Giwerowski, who also tallied two goals and one assist, and Joe Wixted, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, Archbishop Ryan received assists from Ryan Hearn and Ryan Ferris, who each chipped in one.

Penncrest excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Penncrest was helped by Jack Fletcher, who finished with one goal. Fletcher scored short handed 6:46 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Penncrest. Penncrest was on a disadvantage when Matthew Simpson went off the ice for slashing. Penncrest also got points from Matthew Dougherty, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Penncrest also got a goal from Ryan Dumont as well. Other players who recorded assists for Penncrest were Zachary Kelly, who had one.
