Archbishop Carroll had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-2 win over Bishop Shanahan.

Archbishop Carroll got the win on the strength of a great game by Brendan George, who had two goals and one assist. George scored the first of his two goals at 13:16 into the first period to make the score 3-2 Archbishop Carroll. George's next tally made the score 5-2 Archbishop Carroll with 10:59 left in the second period. Jason Zambella picked up the assist.

Bishop Shanahan's power play was ineffective against Archbishop Carroll's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Archbishop Carroll excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances.

Archbishop Carroll also had goals scored by Harrison Lownes, who had two and Colby Yaller and Robert Batten, who each put in one. In addition, Archbishop Carroll received assists from Matthew Strofe and James Beale, who contributed one each.

Bishop Shanahan was helped by Jonathan Habermann, who tallied one goal. Habermann scored 6:37 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Gera Poddubnyi assisted on the tally. Bishop Shanahan additionally got points from Poddubnyi, who also racked up one goal and one assist. More assists for Bishop Shanahan came via Tim Blajda, who had one and Ryan Conners, who had two.
