Huge game by Batten boosts Archbishop Carroll over Lansdale Catholic, 14-0

Behind a great game by Robert Batten, who had two goals and two assists, Archbishop Carroll defeated Lansdale Catholic, 14-0.

Batten's tallies came at 1:39 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Archbishop Carroll and 4:50 into the second to make the score 12-0 Archbishop Carroll.

Archbishop Carroll's offense rang up 39 shots on Lansdale Catholic's net. Archbishop Carroll bested its season scoring average. Archbishop Carroll has scored at the pace of 8.0 goals per game during the current campaign.

Archbishop Carroll also got points from Colby Yaller, who also grabbed three goals and one assist, Matthew Strofe, who also finished with one goal and two assists, Walker, who also registered one goal and two assists, Bryan Flynn, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Brendan George, who also had two goals and one assist. Others who scored for Archbishop Carroll included Jason Zambella and Shoemaker, who each put in two. In addition, Archbishop Carroll received assists from Patrick Parker, Mark Bianci, James Beale, and Nick Zambella, who contributed one each.

Lansdale Catholic found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere two shots against Archbishop Carroll's defense.
