Archbishop Carroll completes comeback, beats Archbishop Ryan, 4-3

Archbishop Carroll climbed out of a three-goal hole to beat Archbishop Ryan, 4-3.

Archbishop Carroll never led in the game until netting the game winner. Archbishop Carroll trailed 3-0 after a goal by Archbishop Ryan's Ryan Ferris at 3:31 in the second period. Archbishop Carroll knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Matthew Strofe at 10:22 in the third period. Archbishop Carroll netted the game winner at 15:16 in the third period on a goal by Strofe.

Brendan George had two goals and one assist to lead Archbishop Carroll. George scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 11:26 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Archbishop Ryan. Archbishop Carroll earned a power play opportunity when Joe Wixted was put in the box for tripping. Strofe provided the assist. George's next tally on the power play made the score 4-3 Archbishop Carroll with 4:44 left in the third period. Nick Zambella picked up the assist.

Archbishop Carroll managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Archbishop Carroll finished below its season average of 15.0 penalty minutes per game.
