M2 Merrimack College survived a determined comeback attempt by M2 Keene State College on the way to a 3-1 win.

A goal by Jt Lynch put M2 Merrimack College up 3-0 in the third period, but M2 Keene State College pulled to within two on Andrew Pierce's tally 18:28 into the third period.

M2 Merrimack College was led by goalie Derek DeCastro, who finished with 34 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of DeCastro will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 3.33.

M2 Keene State College put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M2 Merrimack College to score on any of its four power plays.
