Huge game by Tosone boosts Massachusetts University of over W2 Connecticut University of, 6-1

The Massachusetts University of Minutemen's Michaela Tosone had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-1 win over W2 Connecticut University of.

Tosone found the back of the net 8:36 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Massachusetts University of and again while 1:51 into the third to make the score 3-1 Massachusetts University of.

Massachusetts University of's Bethany welch was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past him. The solid play of welch will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.6.
