M2 Davenport University survives M2 Lindenwood University comeback, wins 4-3

M2 Lindenwood University tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but M2 Davenport University held on for a 4-3 victory.

A goal by Blake Damerow put M2 Davenport University up 4-2 in the second period, but M2 Lindenwood University pulled to within one on Cory Johnson's tally 15:47 into the third period.

M2 Davenport University was led by Damerow, who registered one goal. Damerow scored on the power play 14:02 into the second period to make the score 4-2 M2 Davenport University. M2 Davenport University had gotten the advantage when M2 Lindenwood University's Mitchell Miller was sent off for slashing. Jake Otto provided the assist.

M2 Davenport University stifled M2 Lindenwood University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. M2 Davenport University's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.
