M2 Central Connecticut St Universit survives M2 New York University comeback, wins 4-3

M2 New York University tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but M2 Central Connecticut St Universit would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

A goal by Matthew Lis put M2 Central Connecticut St Universit up 4-1 in the second period, but M2 New York University pulled to within one on Hamilton Whyte's tally 19:28 into the third period.

M2 Central Connecticut St Universit forced M2 New York University goalie Jack Nebe to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

M2 Central Connecticut St Universit was led by Jack Johnson, who racked up one goal and one assist. Johnson scored on the power play 19:57 into the first period to make the score 3-1 M2 Central Connecticut St Universit. M2 Central Connecticut St Universit had taken the advantage when M2 New York University's James Moeller got sent off for tripping. Ross Burton picked up the assist. M2 Central Connecticut St Universit also got points from Lis, who also had one goal and one assist. M2 Central Connecticut St Universit also had goals scored by Dylan Brown and Adam Mink, who each put in one.
