M2 Akron University of fell behind early, and M2 Florida Gulf Coast University kept piling on the points on the way to a 18-2 victory.

Joshua Koerner was all over the ice for M2 Florida Gulf Coast University, as he tallied four goals and three assists in the win. Koerner notched his first tally 9:24 into the first period. He then added goals at 19:26 into the second, at 8:26 into the third, and at 17:53 into the third.
