Behind a great game by Nathaniel Welsh, who had one goal and three assists, the M1 Cornell University Big Red defeated the M1 Ithaca College Bombers, 8-3.

Welsh scored short handed 10 seconds into the third period to make the score 5-1 M1 Cornell University. Welsh dished an assist on Parker Dietz's goal that made the score 3-1 M1 Cornell University at 4:04 into the second period. He then added assists on Dylan Parker's goal at 2:49 into the third and on Dietz's goal at 6:49 into the third.
