M1 Cornell University downs M1 Binghamton University, 6-2

Nathaniel Welsh tallied one point to lead the M1 Cornell University Big Red to a 6-2 victory over the M1 Binghamton University Bearcats.

M1 Cornell University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

M1 Cornell University also got points from Treykel McGee, who also had one goal and one assist, Brendan Brown, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Matthew Blakley, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for M1 Cornell University included Thomas Suesser and Michael Habib, who scored one goal each. In addition, M1 Cornell University received assists from Kevin Franceschelli, who had two and Dylan Parker, Graham Murphy, Parker Dietz, and Chris Wuestneck, who contributed one each.

M1 Binghamton University was led by Peter Russo, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Russo scored short handed 13:56 into the second period to make the score 2-2. The Bearcats played down a man on Nick Catrone's holding. Kyle Lawrence also scored for M1 Binghamton University.

The Big Red incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. M1 Binghamton University incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
