A goal by John Redgate put M1 Delaware ^ University of up 5-3 in the third period, but M1 Rhode Island ^ University of pulled to within one on William Damore's tally 19:17 into the third period.

The Blue Hens got the win on the strength of a great game by Redgate, who had two goals and one assist.
