M1 Delaware ^ University of holds on for 5-4 win against M1 Rhode Island ^ University of

The M1 Delaware ^ University of Blue Hens survived a determined comeback attempt by the M1 Rhode Island ^ University of Rams on the way to a 5-4 win.

A goal by John Redgate put M1 Delaware ^ University of up 5-3 in the third period, but M1 Rhode Island ^ University of pulled to within one on William Damore's tally 19:17 into the third period.

The Blue Hens got the win on the strength of a great game by Redgate, who had two goals and one assist. Redgate scored the first of his two goals at 15:53 into the first period to make the score 3-1 M1 Delaware ^ University of. Matthew Santucci picked up the assist. Redgate's next tally made the score 5-3 M1 Delaware ^ University of with 1:10 left in the third period.

M1 Delaware ^ University of's offense was clicking better than usual and put 51 shots on goal during the game, better than the 3.1 shots per game it averages.
