M1 Delaware ^ University of penalty kill dominates in 5-1 defeat of M1 Liberty University

The M1 Delaware ^ University of Blue Hens' penalty kill was superb, as M1 Delaware ^ University of survived multiple penalties to beat the M1 Liberty University Flames, 5-1.

The Blue Hens were led by Cole Zucker, who finished with one goal. Zucker scored on the power play 12:22 into the second period to make the score 2-1 M1 Delaware ^ University of. M1 Delaware ^ University of had gotten the advantage when M1 Liberty University's Zachary Hayes was sent off for delay of game. Leo Skehan picked up the assist.

The Blue Hens excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. By firing 29 shots on goal, M1 Delaware ^ University of exceeded the 3.9 shots it averages per game this year.

M1 Delaware ^ University of also got points from Matt Margolis, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Dan Going, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for M1 Delaware ^ University of included John Redgate and Nick Ustaski, who each put in one. In addition, M1 Delaware ^ University of received assists from Justin Hoch, who had one and Alex Guerere and Shane Mullin, who contributed two each.
