M1 Lebanon Valley College vanquishes M1 Delaware ^ University of in shootout, 3-2 (2-1 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the M1 Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen defeated the M1 Delaware ^ University of Blue Hens in a shootout 3-2 (2-1 SO).

The shootout featured five attempts between both teams. M1 Delaware ^ University of's shootout goal was scored by Pierce Lamberton. In addition to the clincher, M1 Lebanon Valley College got a shootout goal from Matthew Reno.

The Flying Dutchmen overcame a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. M1 Lebanon Valley College fell behind 2-1 after a goal by the Blue Hens' Matt Margolis at 19:52 in the first period. The Flying Dutchmen tied things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Travis Acker at 8:58 in the second period.

M1 Lebanon Valley College managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Flying Dutchmen ended up below its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game. M1 Lebanon Valley College was held below its usual level of production.
