M1 Rutgers University penalty kill dominates in 5-0 defeat of M1 Delaware ^ University of

Despite having to fight off several power plays, the M1 Rutgers University Scarlet Knights were able to defeat the M1 Delaware ^ University of Blue Hens, 5-0.

M1 Rutgers University was sparked by Kevin Fitch, who tallied one goal and one assist. Fitch scored 3:18 into the second period to make the score 1-0 M1 Rutgers University.

The Scarlet Knights excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. The defensemen of M1 Rutgers University were also effective in M1 Delaware ^ University of's zone, and came away with two goals. The Scarlet Knights put 33 shots on net during the contest, more than the 4.5 they average per game.

M1 Rutgers University additionally got points from James Felice, who also registered one goal and one assist. M1 Rutgers University also had goals scored by Griffin Privitera, Ned Richard, and CJ Maksut, who each put in one.
