M3-Oakland University takes care of M3-Michigan State University early, wins 9-2

A five-goal first period deficit cost M3-Michigan State University, which could not recover and fell to M3-Oakland University, 9-2.

Brian Feldpausch was all over the ice for M3-Oakland University, as he tallied one goal and three assists in the win. Feldpausch scored on the power play 5:28 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M3-Oakland University. M3-Oakland University earned a power play opportunity when Luke Easton was put in the box for cross checking. Zac Massa assisted on the tally.
