Early goals doom M3-Penn State-Behrend, falls to M3-Oakland University, 13-3

A seven-goal first period deficit cost M3-Penn State-Behrend, which could not recover and fell to M3-Oakland University, 13-3.

Chris Hellebuyck had one goal and three assists to lead M3-Oakland University. Hellebuyck scored 2:16 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M3-Oakland University. Zac Massa picked up the assist.

M3-Oakland University's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four M3-Penn State-Behrend power plays. M3-Oakland University's offense rang up 66 shots on M3-Penn State-Behrend's net.

M3-Oakland University additionally got points from Eric Woolf, who also had one goal and one assist, Robert Lauro, who also registered one goal and two assists, Massa, who also grabbed three goals and two assists to lead the team in points, and Jeffrey Clemence, who also tallied one goal and two assists. M3-Oakland University also had goals scored by Cale Denison, Matt Stirling, Michael Ryan, Joshua Gudobba, Aj Rosales, and Cortlin Marcinkowski, who scored one goal each.
