Huge game by Russo boosts M1 Binghamton University over M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog, 7-1

The M1 Binghamton University Bearcats' Peter Russo had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 7-1 win over the M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog Tigers.

Russo scored at 1:05 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while 16:17 into the second to make the score 5-1 M1 Binghamton University.

M1 Binghamton University stifled M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bearcats outdid their season average for goals scored. M1 Binghamton University has scored at the pace of 3.8 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

M1 Binghamton University additionally got points from Cody Klein, who also finished with one goal and two assists and Daniel Kowalsky, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for M1 Binghamton University included Cameron Krug and Christopher Frye, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Binghamton University were Nick Catrone and Thomas Farrar, who each chipped in one and Kyle Lawrence and Joseph Posillico, who contributed two each.
