M2 Rutgers University relied on the scoring touch of Oliver Bech-Hansen, who netted two goals, to beat M2 Muhlenberg College, 6-3.

Bech-Hansen found the back of the net 6:34 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M2 Rutgers University and again while 3:22 into the third to make the score 4-3 M2 Rutgers University.

M2 Muhlenberg College was unable to stop M2 Rutgers University from sending pucks towards the net, and M2 Rutgers University eventually piled up 50 shots on goal.

M2 Rutgers University also got points from Tom Savino, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Peter Krzewinski, who also registered one goal and two assists, Tommy Fisher, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Tyler Mishchenko, who also registered one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for M2 Rutgers University were Danny Kukuyev, who had one and John Fearon and Ryan Levy, who each chipped in two.

M2 Muhlenberg College was helped by Sam Amon, who racked up two goals. Amon scored the first of his two goals at 5:59 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Amon's next tally made the score 3-3 with 19:20 left in the third period. Jacob Picker assisted on the tally. M2 Muhlenberg College additionally got points from Picker, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, M2 Muhlenberg College received assists from Elie Skolnick and Billy Rafferty, who contributed one each.

M2 Rutgers University's Michael Liscio stopped 20 shots out of the 23 that he faced. M2 Rutgers University incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Bryan Macallister rejected 44 shots on goal for M2 Muhlenberg College. M2 Muhlenberg College incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
