M1 Lebanon Valley College pulls away in second, rolls over M1 Penn State University Berks, 7-1

The M1 Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen scored four goals in the second period to pull away from the M1 Penn State University Berks Nittany Lions and clinch a 7-1 win.

M1 Penn State University Berks' power play was ineffective against M1 Lebanon Valley College's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

The Flying Dutchmen were paced by Travis Acker, who had one goal. Acker scored on the power play 2:34 into the second period to make the score 2-0 M1 Lebanon Valley College. A slashing penalty on Tyler Lantz had put M1 Lebanon Valley College on the power play. Zack McKown picked up the assist.

The Flying Dutchmen capitalized on the Nittany Lions' penalties, netting three goals while skating with a man advantage. The Flying Dutchmen struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as they finished the game with 14 penalty minutes for six opposing power plays.
