M1 Slippery Rock University gained the winning advantage on a goal by Nate Mettenburg 10:42 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. Mettenburg had two goals and one assist to lead the Pride. Mettenburg scored the first of his two goals at 18:52 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M1 Slippery Rock University.
