M3-Metro. State Univ. of Denve, which led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by M3-Colorado State University and clinched a 6-4 victory.

M3-Metro. State Univ. of Denve led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when M3-Metro. State Univ. of Denve's Shane McGuinness scored at 16:08 in the second period to put M3-Metro. State Univ. of Denve up 5-2.
