M2 Indiana University outlasts M2 Lindenwood University, 4-2

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, M2 Indiana University escaped with a 4-2 victory over M2 Lindenwood University.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Christian Schurmann-Colicchio at 5:02 of the third period.

Schurmann-Colicchio had a great game for M2 Indiana University, netting two goals.

M2 Indiana University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

M2 Indiana University also got points from Jake Novack, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Andrew Newman also scored for M2 Indiana University. In addition, M2 Indiana University received assists from Adam Friedman, Joe Siers, Samuel Linder, and Travis Maxwell, who each chipped in one.

By firing 32 shots on goal, M2 Lindenwood University exceeded the 0.9 shots it averages per game this year. M2 Lindenwood University could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 44 minutes in penalties during the game.
