M3-Central Michigan University let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. M3-Central Michigan University took a 4-3 advantage on a goal by Travis Gilmer at 6:49 in the second period. M3-Central Michigan University went down 3-1 after M3-Saginaw Valley State University's Guy Soulliere put the puck home on the power play at 11:55 in the first period. After tying things up at 4-4 on a power play goal by Branden Rosen at 10:48 in the second, M3-Central Michigan University got the game-winner from Nathan Allgaier at 7:38 in the third period. M3-Central Michigan University also got points from Allgaier, who also had one goal and one assist. Eric Willetts also scored for M3-Central Michigan University.
