Cianciolo's hat trick boosts M3-Northern Virginia CC over M3-Old Dominion University, 8-5

Anthony Cianciolo netted a hat trick to lead M3-Northern Virginia CC over M3-Old Dominion University, 8-5.

Cianciolo's first goal came 16:25 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:19 into the second and at 10:21 into the third.

M3-Old Dominion University's James Jobe could not handle what M3-Northern Virginia CC threw at him, as M3-Northern Virginia CC netted its goals off of eight.

M3-Northern Virginia CC also got points from Logan Winzenburg, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Jack Klerekoper, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Jordan Graves, who also registered one goal and one assist. M3-Northern Virginia CC also had goals scored by Owen OKeefe and Elliott Root, who scored one goal each. More assists for M3-Northern Virginia CC came via Blake Dodson, who had three and Conner Arguin and Christopher OBrien, who each chipped in one.

M3-Old Dominion University forced M3-Northern Virginia CC's goalies to work without much rest, racking up 37 shots and forcing 32 saves. Aaron Hall made 12 stops and Elliot Shelton made 20.

M3-Old Dominion University was led by Ryan Witherow, who racked up two goals and two assists. Witherow scored the first of his two goals at 4:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-Old Dominion University. Witherow's next tally made the score 4-3 M3-Northern Virginia CC with 1:16 left in the second period. Eric Severo also scored for M3-Old Dominion University.
