M3-Northwood University tried its best to erase a four-goal deficit, but M3-Indiana Univ-Purdue-FW would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-4.

A goal by Grant Isenbarger put M3-Indiana Univ-Purdue-FW up 6-2 in the second period, but M3-Northwood University pulled to within two on Sam Gannon's tally 14:01 into the third period.

M3-Indiana Univ-Purdue-FW got the win behind a great game by Derek Moss, who had one goal and two assists. Moss scored 8:04 into the second period to make the score 4-2 M3-Indiana Univ-Purdue-FW. Jay Conkling provided the assist.
