M2 Lake Superior State Univ falls to M3-Northwood University after surprising comebackMidland Arena Fri, Oct 23, 2015 Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, M3-Northwood University battled back to claim a 4-3 victory over M2 Lake Superior State Univ. M3-Northwood University let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. M3-Northwood University took a 3-2 advantage on a goal by Codey Mazeau at 17:44 in the first period. M3-Northwood University found itself down 2-0 after M2 Lake Superior State Univ's Jaron Rowe put the puck home at 6:26 in the first period. After tying things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by Shane Koch at 11:52 in the second, M3-Northwood University got the game-winner from Dominick Zack at 18:35 in the third period. Zack had two goals to lead M3-Northwood University to victory. M3-Northwood University forced M2 Lake Superior State Univ goalie Dominic Franca to work between the pipes, taking 46 shots. M3-Northwood University struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 18 penalty minutes for eight opposing power plays. M3-Northwood University also got a goal from Max Schemansky as well.
