Ketchabaw leads M1 Syracuse University to shutout victory over M1 Niagara University

Jaime Ketchabaw made 38 saves to complete the shutout and led the M1 Syracuse University Orange to a 2-0 win against the M1 Niagara University Purple Eagles.

M1 Syracuse University was led by Benjamin King, who tallied one goal. King scored 13:53 into the second period to make the score 1-0 M1 Syracuse University. Matthew DiVietro provided the assist.

The Orange's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three M1 Niagara University power plays. M1 Syracuse University forced M1 Niagara University goalie Mike Parda to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Nolan Metzler also scored for M1 Syracuse University.

The Purple Eagles' offense operated below their season average. M1 Niagara University averages 4.9 goals per game. The Purple Eagles' offense rang up 38 shots on the Orange's net.
