Bew got on the scoresheet 6:25 into the first period. He then added goals at 19:01 into the first and at 13:39 into the second.M1 Niagara University gained an early advantage, leading 6-1 by the end of the first period. The Purple Eagles kept M1 Saint Bonaventure University's goalie busy throughout the game, and Alex Feyche made 58 saves on 70 shots. M1 Niagara University bested its season scoring average. This season, the Purple Eagles average 5.6 goals per contest. M1 Niagara University got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
