A goal by Tyler Stockwell put M1 Niagara University up 5-2 in the second period, but M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of pulled to within one on John Barlow's tally 19:15 into the third period. In the losing effort, the Wolverines were led by Tyler Groat, who finished with two goals and one assist. Groat scored the first of his two goals at 4:11 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of. Andrew Palushaj picked up the assist.
