M1 Niagara University downs M1 Duquesne University, 4-0

Dalton Bew finished with two points to lead the M1 Niagara University Purple Eagles to a 4-0 victory over the M1 Duquesne University Dukes.

M1 Niagara University's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four M1 Duquesne University power plays. The Purple Eagles' offense rang up 44 shots on M1 Duquesne University's net.

M1 Niagara University also got a goal from Patrick Gregory as well. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Niagara University were Andrew Mitch, who had two and Dallas Szustak, Nick Smith, and Josh Pietrantonio, who contributed one each.

The Dukes did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 14 shots on net to force 14 saves.

M1 Niagara University's Mike Parda stopped 14 shots out of the 14 that he faced. The Purple Eagles incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Alexander Taylor recorded 40 saves for M1 Duquesne University. The Dukes ended with 21 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major. M1 Duquesne University ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Nolan Trombetta was ejected from the game.
