Ostrowski's hat trick boosts M2 Grand Valley State University over M1 Eastern Michigan University, 10-2

Alex Ostrowski netted a hat trick to lead M2 Grand Valley State University over the M1 Eastern Michigan University Eagles, 10-2.

Ostrowski's first goal came 5:25 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:29 into the second and at 14:37 into the second.

M1 Eastern Michigan University's seven penalties came back to haunt it, as the Eagles let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

M2 Grand Valley State University forced Eagles' goaltenders to work without much rest, taking 62 shots and forcing 52 saves. Kevin oshea made 29 stops and Sando Arapovic made 23.
