Klakring, Glick dominate M3-Virginia Commonwealth University, lead M3-Liberty University to 5-2 win

Behind two goals from Jonathan Klakring and one goal Nathan Glick, M3-Liberty University downed M3-Virginia Commonwealth University 5-2.

Klakring scored the first of his two goals at 2:29 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-Liberty University. Kade McDaniel picked up the assist. Klakring's next tally made the score 4-2 M3-Liberty University with 11:04 left in the third period. Braden Taylor provided the assist. Glick scored 2:48 into the third period to make the score 3-2 M3-Liberty University. James Brady picked up the assist.

M3-Liberty University managed to stay out of the box for the most part, totaling only one major for five minutes in penalty time. The defensemen of M3-Liberty University were also effective in M3-Virginia Commonwealth University's zone, and came away with two goals.

M3-Liberty University also had goals scored by Jeremy Barstead and Zach Moore, who scored one goal each. More assists for M3-Liberty University came via Parker Mcintyre, who had two and Carl Harter, Matthew Graham, and Markus Deas, who each chipped in one.

M3-Virginia Commonwealth University was led by Ryan Schafer, who registered two goals. Schafer scored the first of his two goals at 15:30 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Buzz Ganow provided the assist. Schafer's next tally made the score 2-2 with 6:15 left in the second period. Will Hussar picked up the assist. In addition, M3-Virginia Commonwealth University received assists from Daniel Dillon and Stephen Davis, who contributed one each.
