M3-Liberty University beats M3-Coastal Carolina University 4-3 after comeback scare

M3-Coastal Carolina University tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but M3-Liberty University would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

M3-Liberty University took a 4-2 lead during the third period, only to have M3-Coastal Carolina University storm back on a Matthew Kinchla goal 9:40 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

M3-Coastal Carolina University fell victim to a deadly M3-Liberty University power play, which ripped M3-Coastal Carolina University for four goals.

M3-Liberty University was helped by Jonathan Klakring, who had one goal. Klakring scored on the power play 7:03 into the third period to make the score 4-2 M3-Liberty University. Travis Swyers assisted on the tally. M3-Liberty University additionally got points from Kade McDaniel, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for M3-Liberty University included Markus Deas and Caleb Weesner, who each put in one. In addition, M3-Liberty University received assists from Josh Klakring, Nathan Glick, and Kyle Jassmann, who each chipped in one.
